I know there are still features lacking and a few bugs, but it'll all be sorted out in the forthcoming days.

Re: ManiaHome in the browser
I also am very impressed and pleased with the whole new site design great job!
Some specific points I think are great:
1. I love the way you have incorporated all 3 games on the rotation slide. Works very well and shows immediately what the MP is all about.
2. The 'explore' feature is also very nice- it hides away all the tabs and keeps the main page very simple and focused.
3. The 'sign in feature' which shows nickname, buddies online and you if you want to join them is very nice.
4. Search is also useful and quick.
5. The TM and SM are also now in the same design layout which is perfect. Both of which still have the MP bar at the top which allows consistency.
Some specific points I want to critique on:
1. The favicon needs updating.
2. The news, forums and player page login are all on different looking designs so there lacks consistency in those.
3. The login would be much better if there was a quick sign in (ie: drop down menu with the login and password)
Thanks again

Re: ManiaHome in the browser
thanks to all of you for your feedback !
We will continue to improve the websites, lot of things on our ToDoList as you mentionned: consistency in the design (news, shop, QuestMania...), possibility to see the comments of ManiaHome in your browser etc...
With the ShootMania release, ManiaPlanet becomes stronger and obvious and its access has to be easier.

I am a man of standards indeed. A corollary is that I hate Internet Explorerfastforza wrote:I don't like that iframe though. I thought you were a man of standards gouxim!

But I am also realistic, and sometimes trade-offs have to be made. I'm not a big fan of the iframe either, but in the end the user experience is reasonable enough.
As for all the other feedback, things are currently beeing improved/fixed.

Haha, I rather think that you are just copied it from the old players page, aren´t you ?gouxim wrote:I am a man of standards indeed. A corollary is that I hate Internet Explorerfastforza wrote:I don't like that iframe though. I thought you were a man of standards gouxim!![]()

Re: ManiaHome in the browser
It is not copied ; it IS the old player page. That is basically why we used an iframe. The team (read: the man) working on the old playerpage beeing wwaaaaaayyyy too busy with SM and everything right now, we chose the iframe as a quick solution to integrate the old features in the new player page.
