- Quite randomly, the game crashes when you press either 'return' or 'delete', in order to either respawn, retire or chat.

This one is starting to piss me off real bad.

Because of this i can't play RoC, MX KO, other matches and ranked servers in general. (because i have to restart my entire game)

I have this bug about 3/4 times a day. Usually when I press enter the game just freezes. I cleared my entire cache, disabled downloading and nothing worked. I even completely uninstalled maniaplanet and redownloaded it. Still no solution.

Now I hear a lot of other people who have the same problem (last MX KO there were about 4 people with freezes of the 30 players) and it seems it is some kind of hardware/software problem not related to tm2. Because the people who do experience this bug have it multiple times a day. And others never had a single gamecrash.

This problem is starting to make me play less and less tm2. I could imagine a lot of other players get sick of the game crashing 4 times a day. So I hope this will be fixed soon!

Are you running the latest graphics drivers?

Canyon has crashed on me 4 times since the game was released in September.

Since I updated my NVidia graphics drivers to 285.62 I've had only one crash, and it was somehow related to paying for a car skin.

Getting crashes in the middle of competitions is really bad though. I could see how it could totally ruin your fun.

Yes I'm running the latest drivers on my GPU. Even had the store where I bought my laptop update it for me.

yep, i experience it too, a couple of times a week, but also sometimes multiple times within one hour.

i do think that it mostly happens to me, when i'm pressing return/delete when something else is happening ingame at the very same time (f.e. going through the finish; posting a chatline online, and pressing delete almost instantly after it; going through a checkpoint and retiring.

mostly if the game should not crash (f.e. during matches), i'm always just very slow and peaceful. this way the game never crashed for me.

JumperJack are you playing with a gamepad?

Because I noticed among the people I know who have crashes that most of them use gamepads and in particular ps3 controller.

Yeah, I have a problem with the car-paint editor. See, when I save a car I've painted I go back to look at it and it's all black. So basically it doesn't save my skin. I've tried re-installing it and a bunch of other things but nothing I've tried works. Does anybody know how to fix this?

If you try to change the volume during an intro the volume sliders will let you change them for about half a second... and then the top bar will freeze until the intro is over.
