Re: Destroy the map ?
In TF2 chokepoints are actually preferred as long as there are multiple routes. It actually keeps the game from getting too fast-paced and gives the defenders a decent chance of defending against even a soldier rush/scout rush/heavy rush (although if done wrong it makes engineers a bit too good).BLiNNeMaNS wrote:How about "/admin erasethis followed by /admin skip ?
As in my opinion that's a serious case of bad mapping ^^
I do get what you're saying, but i think (as all 3 titles will use the same .exe aka share the same engine) they would've added some sort of destructable scenery in tm2 already if it were possible with the current engine. Especially if you think of the low systemspecs to run the game.
As for the engine having the capabilities? I've seen some crazy stuff while poking around the files of some games. Just because one game on that engine doesn't have it doesn't mean it won't ever be implemented. It's just as possible that Nadeo just didn't want to use that feature in TM2 and just stuck it in the .exe for later.

Re: Destroy the map ?
of course i am in favor of multi chokepoints. In fact that's what makes teambased games interesting on a strategic level. I just don't think it's as good in the form of 1 standard passage and having to dig your alternative routes by nade spam
And about the engine lacking the ability now but maybe not in the future.. yeah of course that's possible. I just got a feeling Ubi is pushing nadeo to spam the release of shootmania without reworking the engine. And after release immediately work fully on questmania. In other words, Ãf that feature will be added it'll probably be in the form of a mod written by community members combined with nadeo staff under an alter ego.

hehe, yeah the paks are annoying indeed. It's not a game for the players by the players with freedom to cusomise anymore is it?
Re: Destroy the map ?
Hylis say it not looks like other games like Battlefield and thatAngelFred wrote:WONDERFUL!!!!! +1 000 000 000 000 000 redfog![]()
I really liked this thing when you can destroy walls and things. But it has to be really really well done like Battlefield:BC2. It was really well done and very cool to use. Nice idea redfog!
