I said:

U need to have the block, but u can open, watch it, or race it without using tmunlimiter......

That said, it will probably not be any big problem, as long as trackbuilders using it, are aware of it and not placing CP and/or finish on the ground... as in my track....

Edit; Ok, not to confusing anyone more; this
arc_ wrote: One restriction is that to use the blocks ingame, you need TM2Unlimiter (version 0.2.2 or newer)... This includes the person creating the blocks and anyone who wants to play a map that contains the blocks. The reason for this is a limitation in ManiaPlanet: .gbx files in the Personal folder are not allowed to reference external files, which is required for blocks (e.g. models need to reference their textures). TM2Unlimiter lifts this restriction.
is only about using and racing on the custom block. Coz, open it without tmunlimiter makes the block not load, and thereby u cant see it nor race on it. BUT, if someone building a track using those blocks, like the desert block, and is unaware of this, then placing cp and finish on the ground, then the racer open the track or a replay without tmunlimiter, will gain much time by racing it without the block....

That being said, it also open up for pretty funny stuff which i believe can be useful for creative people.....Hope this clarify a little my post here....

Edit 2; As when it comes to something i actually was planning to use in another track as obstacles, the new cactus block. If I did, other racers could just bypass this obstacles by loading the track without using tmunlimiter, and race the track without the obstacles being there at all..... Hope this clarify even more.... :roll:

Yeah, he said the block was needed. It's just that, if you have the block.. you can play the track without unlimiter. You just won't see the block, which means the map could be cuttable. I haven't tried any of this. I'm just reiterating what I understood nesrally to mean. :)

Ok, I modified my nesrallycross r track to demonstrate it clearly by deleting the cp and put an additional finish outside .... Just use free cam (by 2 press on numeric 7) to localize it....I uploaded my author time so u can race against that time and see how easy u can beat it by start it without TMunlimiter. I recommend to watch it first... its kind ogf funny.... then race it.....http://tm.mania-exchange.com/tracks/view/19509..
But oc, as stated, u need to have the dessert block installed.....

Did it works for u when u used tmunlimiter?

Ok, we`ll just wait and see what happens to others trying it, coz it works for me.... just uploaded my own replay to check it to be sure, and it loads and i can race without have the desertblock visible, so the race is on the ground... the other trees by the way, are pretty much visible from under and up... pretty strange and different actually.....

I confirm Nesrally's words. (just tested)
Maniaplanet does not allow custom block to load without Unlimiter, but allow to load map if custom block exist in folder.

Sorry i didnt mentioned that in the previous post.
Hm,strange... If it was not for the fact that my gf in the philippines also downloaded my replay and forget to start canyon with tmunlimiter first, and she was actually the one telling me like; hey, how do u do that? Do what, i answer... U racing in the air and i racing under u, she said.... ! That was the time I discover it... SO by that, it cannot be because i am the one making the track...
So i think the only we can do is to wait for report from others trying it.... :pop:

Edit;
