When we create maps/tracks we always need to validate them.
Then instead of playing it through validation we play them in Local/Single Race.
Once we beat our record it should be updated within the map so that we can fix the timers for certain medals and our own medal since we drove it faster.
ex.
I am making a set of tracks and managed to beat my best time on a [2'01"69] track to [1'57"99] - made it perfectly and now the validation doesn't allow me to fix times for gold medal since I want it to be [2'01"68].
Becouse Validation time is: [2'01"69]
My best run in local is: [1'57"99]
And want Gold to be: [2'01"68]
Since I improved my skill and made a perfect run. (No i'm not that good to play same track same way everytime)

Re: [Important for Map Creators!] Local Play records>Validat
There should be an option to use Replay as validation at least
Re: [Important for Map Creators!] Local Play records>Validat
Save the replay, and when going to edit it select validate or export to validate (I don't remember which). That should do it.

Re: [Important for Map Creators!] Local Play records>Validat
Well, I only tested it once in TMF, but it worked then. I guess it's just too much to expect that something works in TM2 only based on the fact it worked in TMF. There's definitely too many bugs left in this game.
Re: [Important for Map Creators!] Local Play records>Validat
Tried it also - doesn't work - just says "it is valid" and nothing else happens (as if replay is still working)
Re: [Important for Map Creators!] Local Play records>Validat
I'd like to see a possibility to use a replay to update an author time on a map.
