If you place a lot of blocks with a complex collision, you will get a noticeable FPS drop even if you are only close to one of the blocks. So keep your collision poly count low no matter what. It doesn't have to be super precise anyway; it's invisible after all.

Since many years we allowed import of cars into the game, but about modifying the maps itself, we have been careful to keep the consistency of the experience for people who decided to play the game. Now, with Titles, it will be possible for players to add visual, static and collidable objects in the maps. It is another step with more opening, but keeping it somehow structured for usual players as well. For people familiar with the interface, it will be accessible through a new icon between blocs and macroblocks at the bottom of the map editor interface.
official soon

sad for this project that won't really be useful as soon as the tools will be released by nadeo, but cool that things move in the right direction :pil

Good to see :). Not much point in continuing mpbc development then I suppose. The current release already has all the basics covered so people can use it to prepare blocks for MP2.0.

I am pretty curious whether mpbc's release actually made a difference, or whether Nadeo was planning on including custom blocks in MP2.0 all along. I guess we'll never know

Hard to believe that nadeo was planning to include it...
Anyway you did an amazing work along with coastkid, you give us some hope since Easter :p

Thanks to you and thanks to nadeo now, it's a great move.

I was under the impression that NADEO intended to include the Block Importer / Editor with the original release of Canyon but it had problems and they waited to make sure it would be compatible with future releases. Not knowing from the beginning all the aspects needed for 'clean' imports they opted to wait and do it correctly. A good idea I think (looking toward the future).

Its great to hear, but i dont think nadeo will allowe just any 3d model, do you ?. ? but we can hope.
btw: with mpbc we can import whatever we want.
i think they have a limited block editor sort of ?
similar to build a map in tm, or like in simcity 3000, i remember there was a block editor you could dl and make custom house with tiny cubes. hehe :|
if it comes an block editor you can add unlimiter to it ;) or perhaps you can do an block editor , your next project maybe. :pop: arc_
