i don't get the difference between a block and a "visual, static and collidable object"

I suppose that means free placing of objects, without snapping to the block grid spacing (64,64,16)

Ohwow, finaly some word from the great master :pil

Not-snapping-to-the-grid-objects would be great wouldn't it? Looks like it should be giving us more freedom with the placements of those objects i guess.

Anyway this great news postpones the shoving into dark places action :D

to be sure to understand correctly : we can add some new decoration objects (static & collidable, which can be placed free on the map = above an existing block or ground* ) but we can't create new block with clipping or function ** :?:
(exemple : ok for a building but not for a new clipping road block, not for a new start block etc... ?)

if so, and if objects are large enough, can we create objects without clipping but which have exactly a 3D form like a classic road block ? for example, can we imagine to use objets like we see in the mpbc topic ? (did a picture with most of mpbc blocks : there's a lot of creativity there :P )

Sorry about our questions

edit :
* if i understand, we can place objects all over the map, not only in the block grid spacing :3
** i think also about choosing the type of road gameplay (dirt, tar, ... ?)

Objects

Since many years we allowed import of cars into the game, but about modifying the maps itself, we have been careful to keep the consistency of the experience for people who decided to play the game. Now, with Titles, it will be possible for players to add visual, static and collidable objects in the maps.
:3 :1010
Hold on: this mean that, like with mpbc, we can import custom blocks, right? :pop:
