Maybe minimum percent to be choosed is a solution?

If there are 20 players and 19 will pick the same map, I'm quite sure, there will be rage because votemap choose map with 1 vote.

Minimum 20% will be enough :)

Wished something and a few hours later it's done. If that would work on every wish we utter.. that's probably a dream :D

@djhubertus,
To a certain extent I agree with your idea. It balances the feature and more players would be satisfied.
But I would rather suggest to keep everything simple instead of inventing complex features which would most likely not everyone understand. And exactly this - that not everyone understands a feature - will result in raging because it appears as a ''bug'' although it is a great feature.

Greetings,
Soprah

Eole, I have a question.
This type of new functionality its made with manialinks, right? If so, then why dont give it a ShootMania-look?

Also, after I press validate I can still change my vote... this makes me wonder why the button is there?

Anyways... I love this type of things. Its a lot nicer to play MM with this little things :thumbsup:

It's a script library that displays the manialink. This library wasn't made specifically for ShootMania but works for any Maniaplanet game. So the manialink uses the Maniaplanet general style rather than the ShootMania specific style.

If all players press the validate button, then the vote will stop before the end of the timer. But yes, it's utility is not really blatant. I'll remove it and just end the vote if all players selected a map. The button was only useful if someone wanted to end the vote faster but didn't want to vote for a map.

A new version of the library is available on GitHub for people who want to test it.
