It stills says that the file is missing

Was there perhaps an update that deleted the file? Or did the antivirus wrongly took it away?

Where did you install Maniaplanet exactly? Check the folder that is indicated by the ManiaPlanet shortcut on your desktop... because it is there where you have to put the files.

I've put the files on the correct folder, I checked it again.
When I downloaded .rar archive (from Hylis link), anti-virus didn't make anything and I don't know what do you mean with update.

Did you extract the rar!?
Rar is not a native file format of Maniaplanet, you know
By update I meant maniaplanet automatic update, that happens at every start of the game.

Of course I extracted it xD
I can't get updates because the game doesn't even open.

Man this is really weird.
I think only a teamViewer session can help to sort things out...

Yeah, I guess it's the only way to solve it..

Sorry for reactivating that old thread, but was there found a solution. I now face the same problem and can't find a solution

Did you change anything recently, perhaps new video drivers (alos from a windows update)?

Well I installed a new Dirver through Geforce Experience (nvidia Geforce 860M, 359.00), after that the game froze my PC only way to solve the problem forced restart. Then I reinstalled the game, after that every time I started it, a message appeared that the graphic driver has crashed. Then I installed an older version (358.91), which worked flawlessly, after that the hardware vertex shader error appeared. Hope that helps figuiring out the problem.
