I have w7 64bit too.
The path you need to enter is maniaplanet:///
What the error message when you enter maniaplanet:/// as a path for the shortcut ?

Roughly translated it says "Can't find the file maniaplanet:///."

You can try with only 2 / : maniaplanet://

Do you add this when you have install the game?

same thing with maniaplanet://, and yes, the game is already installed. Well maniaplanet is, i guess its suppose to run with that.

The question was, during the installation do you tick the box to associate the maniaplanet:// for ManiaPlanet or not ?
If not try to reinstall the game and associate the maniaplanet:// to the game.

FFS its not win7 x64 problem.. i run it normally .. witjout any trouble even with controller
and when u experience that in XP when admin right needed ..... uncheck that protection thing .....it is only tick in second line .. running something as admin in xp protects system folders from changes .. so c:/progfiles is one of them ..in fact preventing you from update itself

Hi, i know i can make a shortcut and set the path to "maniaplanet:///" but every time i make it, This comes up "Can't find the file maniaplanet:///". i hope someone can help :) :pil
