What would be interesting would be to have the similar 24 hour "peak" count in the playerpage in TM2 as in TMF.

Right now there are 7729 players online in TMF, last 24 hr peak is 9803. Half a year ago, before i uninstalled TM2 and when the "old" TM2 playerpage was up, the last 24 hr peak in TM2 was below 2000 players online. That number has surely grown since then but i would guess that there are at least still more than double so many players online 24 hr peak in the good ole' TMF than TM2.

I feel a little relieved that i am not the only one wanting Stadium back. I started this thread: http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=9133 in the TM1 forum and felt a little "lonely"

Also noticing that there are more than 2000 players who have signed up against the Freezone here:http://tm-freezone.org/index.php convinces me that there still are very many players out there still enjoying Stadium wanting to pay real money for an upgraded version.

Still, you can't compare the numbers of a free game with a paid game ...

That's totally true, however before Freezone the number for the last 24 hr peak in TMF i guarantee you was much higher than the +/- 10K players we see today. After Freezone many of the non-paying players have either stopped playing or bought United to get free access to Stadium-servers, which is the enviroment the majority plays.

To add to that, though just a little pure mind-wobbling from my side, is that those who still are playing TMF are hardcore enthusiasts and would have no problems with paying for an updated version, i feel confident they would have lined up for pre-orders once the announcement was made.

This, i don't decline and it is the best trump car nadeo has in it's sleeve if the other environments should flop.

Yes it can, but it can also be their biggest mistake :pop:

I bet that if Nadeo would anounce stadium 2 with more and better blocks
and also as some form of a free to play model (and make money for example with ingame
advertisement, renting servers, selling models etc) community would go skyrocket high!
