I don't really consider it a port, as it is a complete rewrite of the platform in a different engine.

To answer the question - it really depends on your definition of "port"

Umm, wait a minute...
You want to open-source all of the stuff you found through reverse-engineering the original game and toying around with the Maniaplanet WS API??
I smell a cease&desist incoming.
I'd try to contact NADEO again to get explicit permission for publishing your piece of work, alinoa [at] nadeo [dot] com should be able to help you here.
