I'm specifically thinking of the physics of the car. Nothing else.

But you're right, the way the car goes up on two wheels on some turns definitely is reminiscent of Desert, and the scenery is obviously inspired by Desert... or at the very least inspired by the same area of the Earth that Desert was inspired by... the American Southwest.

And you attributed my post to 5p1tfire in your quote. :roflol:

There's no need to be nasty, people can dislike the handling/style of the game without being a bad person.

@First post:
Canyon is NOTHING like Island!
Canyon you can make turns at 1000 kph without automatically sliding
Canyon doesnt really lose speed while sliding
Canyon has a more extreme landscape than Island
Canyon drives on two wheels in well placed turns which is never seen in Island

Aaargh!
That post of yours is like an itch!
There are more reasons why Canyon isn't like Island than there are atoms in my laptop! And these are a crapload of craploads!

Agreed. But if their reasons for quitting are misguided... there's plenty of reason to "school them" a bit on what things actually are like. I urged him to not give up too fast. You really can't get a handle on Canyon in a few hours. You need to play it for some days. And thank goodness for that, or else we'd all be experts in a week and suddenly bored. The learning curve of an environment is one of the fun things that should keep you playing, not make you quit.

If you really want to make sure the car handling is like you wanted it, you should have asked around if people liked it, what it was like, if they could compare it for you, with something close to it. Now you've basicly took a leap of faith and thought it was going to be the same as stadium ? Well with TM there's always a difference and it's not always subtile.

Also, stadium maniacs only want stadiumstadiumstadium and then when they bought TMUF They still play stadiumstadiumstadium, the others are shit for them :teub:

I already saw some TMUF servers which ONLY HAVE stadium tracks, I still want to know why they bought the game for this then :x

And they think TM2 will be a new stadium, soo i have something to say, TM2 HAVE NOTHING WITH STADIUM, soo yeah, dont expect a stadium 2 because that never gonna happen, we will get brand new shiny envis ready to get your roads burnt by our tires :roflol:

I said the same thing here:

Top of the page. Tldr: most people want stadium, so I have no idea why Nadeo did not make Stadium v2 in accordance with the will of the community (especially if your fancy new environment lacks mandatory blocks like 3x3 corners).
If you want to play stadium then go play bloody stadium. I want to actually play something different. This isn't CoD where all they do is make the same damn game over and over again.
