Purchased it online yesterday. Thought it'd be similar car handling to Stadium, but it's more like the car handling for Island, which I didn't like in the original either but here you don't have a choice (of other environments and/or car types) to play, so it's a really bad purchase for me. Played several hours, trying to let it grow on me, but I still really don't like it.
Any chance of a refund, please? Had there been a demo, I wouldn't've bought it.
Thanks,
Spitfire

What do you think?
You expected to get Stadium 2 like discussed 1000000000000000000000 times before?
Then you thought wrong.
Trackmania is like this - different environments are different. Not like Stadium, I'm happy about that.
Really, you think you get a refund if you don't like a game? Ever got a refund because you didn't like it?
Quite dumb that you didn't look at the many released gameplay video's as well.

Hi, I ordered this chicken sandwich, but I thought it was a hamburger since you guys are famous for hamburgers. Sorry I already ate like half of it, but I wanted to try and like it. McDonald's picture menus sure are confusing.

If you didn't wanna take the risk, why did you pre-purchase? You could have waited for the final release, for reviews, for a playable demo.5p1tfire wrote:Any chance of a refund, please? Had there been a demo, I wouldn't've bought it.
And why did you expect it to be like Stadium? Did it look like Stadium in the trailers? Does the subtitle share any similarity with "Stadium"?
Re: I really don't like it
As mentioned had there been a playable demo, I would not have bought it.
At least with Trackmania you had the option of different environments and car types, meaning you could play whichever appealed to you. Unfortunately with TM2, this just isn't the case. You have to like it, otherwise you'll lump it. I'm the latter.
I'm glad you're happy. I hope you continue to enjoy the game.TGYoshi wrote:Trackmania is like this - different environments are different. Not like Stadium, I'm happy about that.

You didn't have to pre-order Canyon at all, as stated by previous posters. And, as stated by previous posters, what exactly clued you in that Canyon was going to be Stadium v2? Cuz, ya know, it has so much in common with it...

If you have followed the "news" a bit, you would have known there is currently only one environment - more to come (all to be paid separately).

The snowball is starting to pick up speed...
I said the same thing here:

Top of the page. Tldr: most people want stadium, so I have no idea why Nadeo did not make Stadium v2 in accordance with the will of the community (especially if your fancy new environment lacks mandatory blocks like 3x3 corners).
