When you start a server, it will spawn with the default car at first, which you can or can't drive - depending on S_EnableDefaultCar setting. If it's off, you will be notified that the default car is disabled and that you should choose a different car. If the setting is on, you will start with the default car just regularly.
There's long long thought about disabling of the default car and its smartest solution so that people actually play envimix and not a regular map, but this is what exists so far.

ENVIMIX is delayed to an unspecified

I won't bring any excuses to this as it's more than clear it's my own fault on 100%. The reason is that I had another project going during the time I announced Envimix to happen, and I ended up being way more focused on that project than on Envimix. An ability to work on multiple projects at the same time is still missing in me and now this caused my first title pack delay after announcing the clear release month. It's disappointing to me. ManiaPlanet not being the focal point of Trackmania anymore didn't help much with the motivation as well, and it just ended up like this.
I'll at least show you the new main menu of Nadeo Envimix which I haven't shared even with organizers yet:

I hope I'll be able to specify the new release date soon, although from now on, I won't have as much time as I used to have, things will get unfortunately slow.
On the other hand, I'm announcing the other project within 2 days. So I hope I can make it up for you, at least a bit.

It's been 2 years since Nadeo Envimix got United cars.

It was an amazing time seeing people trying out the TMUF physics on Nadeo tracks. You won't forget that quick.
Whatever I will work on, you can be sure that I'll release the new Envimix Remake in any possible form. It's not dead yet. I don't want to waste the work.

Due to lack of time invested in other projects and studies, I am no longer able to progress this project. I can't predict if I will come back to it. So, instead of wasting the work, I'm releasing it open source in a somewhat playable state.

Its a sad story, but i fully understand the priorization. Maybe when I have some time I will check out the repo and see if my basic programming skills are able to understand
