I just got a 2.9 MB update.
This seems to be a "Live" update. (eg. new chat, new settings, etc.)

hi all!
So I've published an update to fix the shootmania issue.
(it was a small change in the protocol that produced some random issues when connecting to game servers.)
the long lasting crosshair size issue, however, is not fixed yet. investigations are still ongoing.
I am very sorry to notify that this still is not fixed ...
People join and get stuck in the spawn. Sometimes F11 or alt-enter works, but not always. If you are in that situation and go spec, you see folks gliding.
Map chance does work all the time.

Please fix the bug before people start to buy it!

I sent a little update to fix some issues with the system plugins
(some rare issues in the chat plugin, finally made the mouse sensitivity slider match the old values, "tournament" manialink update, ....)
Also, I finally was able to have a repro for the crosshair issue, I think I'll push an update early next week with a fix.
sorry about the delay...

I hope the chatbug also fixes the broken urls when divided over multiple lines (also reported in mp beta).
It was working in mp3 and i hope it can be fixed cause its really handy when for example posting links to tutorials, events etc etc
Merci

I think xbx was referring to buddy chat, and the small 2.9 MB update pushed without comment earlier.
EDIT: Looks like another 2.9 MB update was pushed today.
Haagse, aren't you referring to server chat?

I dont know, XBX said it was the chatplugin, not the buddychat
But i think its still really important to fix that serverchat bug, even though it sounds less important.
Its important to give url's during events but also so many many times you cant pass links to tutorials to explain things to people.
Especially in channels where people ask a lot and you want to help them and explain things to them but you cant, cause the link doesnt work
So i was really hoping it was fixed now, i hope somehow NADEO can take a small look at it !
Merci!

hello,
I have built a test version with some fixes:
http://files.v04.maniaplanet.com/setups ... etLogs.zip
Should fix:
* SM: the crosshair issue
* SM: the "cannot play / people are floating around" when first joining a server
* TM/SM: when rebinding inputs in game, the new bindings should be applied immediatly.
Can you please test the fixes?
also:
I hope the chatbug also fixes the broken urls when divided over multiple lines (also reported in mp beta).
there was a partial fix for this in the january update:
if you use the syntax: $l[
http://myverylongurl]short text$l the url should work.
