Don't blame Ubisoft.
- It wasn't them who decided we needed another Island as a standalone game for €20.
- It wasn't them who threw out everything that made Stadium popular - competitive, precise driving and many freeform blocks - in favour of Need for Speed Underground.
- It wasn't them who implemented all those narrow blocks even though we told them since beta that we don't want them.
- It wasn't them who almost went live without platform loops because the beta testers had to tell them we actually want loops in a TM game.
- It wasn't them who realised the game wasn't compatible with the digital distribution platform everyone uses and rather than fixing it so the game can actually be sold to people who want to buy it, ditched Steam and cost themselves a large number of players.
Ps. Despite this, Questmania deserves more development attention than the other two titles together because this could well be a
runaway success. Neverwinter Nights and the sequel were super popular and left a huge void for an RPG with a story editor. If Nadeo do exactly this, they'll hit paydirt.
- I dont think it is similar to island.. to slow, strange NFS handling and easier! Island was/is great and a challenge.. canyon isnt

when u see the fullspeedmaps its a lot like stadium, also the drifting is from stadium...
-stadium was popular , cause it was free (a lot of players=competition... ) ! tms demo was more played as tms too.. cause it was free... when i go out of the tm world... minecraft is popular, cause it is free too! (more then 50% are playing online with a hacked version! ) LoL is free, thats why it is popular atm !
but i totally agree about the greatness of the stadiumblocks, they did a great job/variaton there

and when u speak about precise driving.. that comes with skill, u can do it on every tmu envo too, as u can do it on canyon!
- the narrow blocks are the good blocks, cause they give a little bit challenge in a way to easy game ! ... -.-
- tm dont need loops... look rally or alpine, that were real trackmanias, both had no loops and i never heard anyone saying... if rally would have loops i would enjoy it !
- i totally dont understand why they not sold it on steam too...
and yes, questmania can be a huge success and i am waiting for it too

(as i am waiting for the other 2 tm envos)
and about customblocks: u can paint your blocks, so they are custom
anyway, if nadeo wants to make a revolution, pls copy the ModNation Racers editor! thats the future... not the blockstyle

it would fit perfect for a pc game , cause u can make nice tracks with a mouse instead of fingers (as in ModNation Racers

) that would bring u in front of consoleracinggames too (GT,NFS,Forza) , cause it would be no fun to draw maps with a pad!
