My first post was purely objective. It are screenshots coming from the game... What Im trying to say is that it wasnt personal. It also wasnt an attack on you.
Now you come here to share your opinion and thats something I really encourage. I want NADEO to know how we feel about the game.
But then you mention our "personal differences" in the past and how Im stubborn. Well first of all thats not necessary, but okay ... it happened. I know I can be stubbron. I dont mind. Im this stubborn, because Im fighting for the game... No offence taken.
You made some strong arguements too about the other stuff you said and I agree. But now its my turn to mention a moment we had together a couple of months back.
How often did you flame NADEO on teamspeak calling it a shitgame... Then Im reading your post here and you pretend like its a tripple A-grade game thats perfect. ( I know you dont think its perfect, dont worry. )
I cant even count anymore on my 2hands how much times I saw you ragequit.
Go ahead, and say you never did that... I wont discuss with you anymore. I hope we can leave this behind us & just enjoy the game ( together. )
Anyways. This is not to bust your nuts. Im trying to say that sometimes its "okay" to complain.
Coming here on the forums and starting to rage & insulting & blabla = negativity.
But if you share your opinion & it happens to be negative = truth, not negativity.

I'm gonna try, I promise I'm gonna try to send messages to famous streamers, but a lot of famous video games streamers prefer to play funny games, not more serious E-Sport games (but I got a lot of good times playing SM with my friends ^^).
It'll be a lot easier if we all got the support of Nadeo team by sending them messages too, because we are not enough on the whole game to convince famous streamers playing SM or TM² (The fact that TMNF is known everywhere will help people to come), and the universal demo is something very good too with the advertisement.
But we all gonna spam them talking about this great game and tell them to test it, right ?

@Khan : Iv'e just said they found a way didn't say it's the only way but they already found something to keep their game on the stage. I talk about lol because this game is actually succesfull and younger than others one. Anyway it's not game i like to watch or play but yes they have good buisness plan.
I know nadeo isn't big studio and i'm not asking for all features than big game can have. But here it's feel like noway atm. And some part of big game need to be in sm not just for suck balls or something like that. It's just because it's work like this today.
And what's your feeling with Shootmania atm, you play since 2 years ? So you think it's the good way don't ask anything to nadeo it's gonna work ?
And for old "pro" player who leave the game i don't think it's just about money and other game. They give many feedback on the game and it failed. Then yes some of them trashtalk after it's might be not the best option.
So i'm not here for complaining about the fact we didn't got 5M$ on cup, but actualy the game feel unknow internationaly. And it's feel like good years of sm was before it's weird.
Anyway i just hope this game gonna be successfull one day, but atm it's feel not like the good way unfortunatly.

There is several fun modes like Royal Roulette, CardMelee, Jailbreak or even Hunger Games (it's like half-serious for me ^^). Even Platform is fun

It depends a lot of the Youtuber/streamer, for example some will prefer play to a game requested by their viewers instead of being solicited by a studio

Why do we need new mode when there are underestimates and very competitive modes like : Speedball, BattlePro, CTF, FireFight etc...
Too many players focus elite, but there are already some others better modes (elite is a very good name, because elite players give the feeling that they are THE elite -___-)
So ask for new stream and new tournament, OK... but on other modes than elite (TY to parangon for that with combo, siege bpro and maybe speedball)... for too many peoples SM is Elite, for a creativ game it's really really bad

It's not because name is Elite it's just because it's the first mode who was made and push by nadeo. "Official" it's problem of custom mode. It's hard to got some good competition on Elite so on custom mode you can't imagine.

Obviously tournaments with nice money prizes will increase players number. But Nadeo don't have budget for this. Otherwise what you imagine Nadeo should do? Without legit ideas this thread is pointless. Everyone sees there is lack of players, there is no need to create a thread only to tell about this.

I just want to give a heads up to all the shootmania hardcore fans here. This topic feels almost like dejavù from a previous trackmania discussion on this forum. But first, I would like to give all my hate towards shootmania and its community, because this game is probably the biggest reason to the split up and dying trackmania community. Hope you feel great about yourselves supporting and developing such a successful fps title, when clearly trackmania was not successful enough to be prioritized 100% (yes, sarcasm).
But now, to the main point. (Now, I'm back on your side shootmania fans, but with bad news I'm afraid)
Hylis and Nadeo is probably the worst suited developers for E-sport and competition games. Their company can not handle criticism or feedback (so-called negativity). Their marketing strategy is, except for French people, almost non-existent. Nadeo's strategy is to develop a game and a tool, the rest is up to the community. If you start complaining about this vision then you are stamped as a negative force in this community and for the future success of the game. This is a fact for several years now and it seems like Hylis isn't going to change that any time soon. It's such a shame, because parts of their development and gamplay have so much potential. But thanks to this ignorant mr-know-it-all CEO who continuously seem to waste hours and hours of time debating in the mp forum, it all seems to be washed down the drain at the end. I feel pity on the subordinates of Nadeo who have to suffer all these hours of developing for something that could have been so much better under different circumstances.
So I would like to warn you by linking to the very similar discussion about trackmania a few years back (You will get a few giggles on this one aswell, I recommend bringing your popcorn and read it ALL)

So, bottom line. As long as Nadeo stands for developing trackmania, shootmania etc, there will be no place for any serious competitive community. These games are purely for people (especially french) who want to waste hours of volunteer work and to play a fun little game. The Nadeo team simply does not have the resources or knowledge to make the maniaplanet project a success. I would be very happy to be proved wrong at this point though, BY NADEO, NOT THE COMMUNITY.

AWESOME POST ! And 100% truth ! I stopped believing in NADEO and Hylis (almost like they are separate) a long time ago !
They F***** It Up Themselves ! I don't care if this is considered a negative post.. Live with it !
I AM DONE with nadeo .. although I feel sad about it , but I (we) have to move on !! I can"t wait another 3 years before TM gets out of beta .. It still IS a DAMN BETA !
