Cheat detection is a complex task. I think it would be a good idea to put some of the burden on the community itself. After each game, anyone one should be able to get a server side replay, and view any player. That way, aimbotters will be easily spotted and there will be evidence right away.
Also, it would be nice with random screenshots that get uploaded for anyone to view. If someone is using radar or similar, people will see that.
Another thing I've been thinking about is recording keystrokes during a match. After the match, these keystrokes can be seen by viewing the replay (they are shown on the HUD on a visual keyboard). Suspicious keystrokes for activating/deactivating cheats will be rather obvious.

I think that Nadeo has some ideas on how to handle cheater (i hope).

Nadeo games have a function called "referee" where you can compute other players actions with your game client, to see if it is possible with the "real ingame" physics.
This way everyone can check when they have a doubt.
It is also possible to monitor all players on a server, with a dedicated referee client.
This function is flawless in racing games, and it made me see that people really often do master the game in a way i thought impossible!
I've seen this function in the ShootMania Alpha, but i have not tested it.
It might not work (yet), as a shooter is very different from a racing game, but i really hope that this kind of function will be in the game.

Rocket and nucleus aren't a problem. Aimbot ? Rocket and nucleus have a travel time.
Railgun aimbot ? An aimboter is busted instantly, and banned.
I don't think that there's a need for wall hack.
I think cheater won't play Shootmania !
