Cameras

Post by danodude »

Hey guys, the cameras in the MT seem to have changed with the latest update... Say I have a custom camera, I can change where I want the first position to be but I cant seem to change where the cam will end. Is there a work-around for this or is it just me?

Thanks :)

What Mode does the problem occur in:
Canyon? "Edit replay" - "End of Race" - "Intro" - "In game" etc...
CPU: Intel I7-4770 64Bit @ 3.4Ghz.
Ram: 32GB DDR3
GPU: Geforce GXT 1060 6.2GB DDR5

Well I'm using it for the intro in Canyon. I can click on the start of the custom camera block and move the camera angle, but when I want to change the finishing point I cant seem to move/rotate the camera... maby its because I've come back from TMUF I'm having troubles :D

thanks :)

Record first a few second of the car just sitting on the start and see if that helps.

In the media tracker, before you click on 'edit intro', click 'record ghost' (I think) at the bottom. Record a ghost lap or even just a few second of the car sitting there, then the media tracker will have someting to work with.

[Sorry if I'm not very clear, I get insomnia from time to time and am quite tired right now]

Or try this: Adjust your camera start position, then select your cameras end point, hold Ctrl and left click the start point. This will copy the start point properties to the end point, then you should be able to move the end position of the camera.

I hope that helps but I fear I may have just confused myself! :?
