I just want to say I think it is a mistake to limit the beta's availability to a week. Many players would have abandoned the game naturally after a week, so it's silly to forcefully take the game away from players who are still interested in it after a week. It seems to me, those players are exactly the ones you want in your beta, and are most likely to purchase the game down the road.
For me personally, one week wasn't even enough to dive into the customization fully. I think many developers participating in the beta will have a similar experience, especially since there doesn't appear to be a good central location for documentation. (I've seen some good resources, sure, but it's all scattered around the web.)
Beta time limit. Silly.

Well, buy it then.Protector.one wrote: [...] players who are still interested in it after a week. [...] are most likely to purchase the game down the road.
+ it's a beta, not a demo.
Even if betas are more like demos nowadays, this isn't the main purpose of a beta (and Nadeo already stated about it).
Re: Beta time limit. Silly.
or buy the full game now, get full access to the beta until release, and upon release you'll have your full copy!
what is it, like $15.99 right now?
that's probably the best option, if you haven't done that already.
