A very useful feature that could increase the fun of the game is to adding a facebook like notifications about buddies activities such as new records on dedi, new cars, tracks, skins, tournament buddies have attended to, buddy twitter status and so on.

By extending the messaging system and the mania zones community news with such buddy based notifications, players could have a way on tracking the activities of buddies as well as taking part in those activities. TM2 would then be a full drivers community that very well could compete with other social websites / projects.

uploads /downloads , change nicknames, avatar, joining friends, chat with friends, getting messages when friends write to you and when he upload a new track / car/... will be all available at Maniaplanet, I think this section is called ,,Maniahome´´

-ManiaLive= create your own plugins ( for example fanfare= start music of game or a competitionsystem)
-ManiaPub =tournaments (with it you can make promotion for your tracks)
-Trackmania 2 is pretty good connected to your standard web browser, you can download for example extra tracks/maps/cars from the internet and it will be automatically added to Trackmania

Nadeo is extending the network with many addon programs. ,,Maniahome´´ is the sozial network of ,,ManiaPlanet´´. Here you can find friends and you can inform yourself about their activites. For example if a friend is downloading a new track or created one, you get a message directly on your pinboard
