New ManiaPub location: ManiaHome station

We are testing a new ManiaPub location: directly on the ManiaHome station in ManiaPlanet 2.0.

We hope this new location will dynamise the community, especially for ShootMania - after all this concept of Manialink and ingame community advertising is new to most of the players arriving in ShootMania.

is it possible in the future to put the manialinks in his own station like the titles platform, heroes etc.? Like a big bookmarked manialink? you understand?

Maniapub is a place to advertise manialinks, it helps manialinkowners to get Planets/Coppers (Maniaplanet/United) by selling his own stuff. Players can find skins, maps, horns, etc. and can pay for it with Planets/Coppers.

In short, it is a great way for casual players to access great community created content.

I must be the only one who doesn't use manialinks... there are sites like MX and Maniapark with more content and better centralization.

Web sites are something for "advanced" players. You need to search for it to find them, and it happens outside the game. Manialinks and ManiaPub allow to publish content directly within the game, allowing creators to reach every players - from the PGMs to the casual players who launch their game once a week.

MX and Maniapark are well known among the advanced players and have a good centralization indeed. But with a Manialink frontend they would gain better integration and would be able to reach way more players.

I cannot give any release date for that yet because we have a lot of other very important subject to work on at the moment. But it is still planned to do so at some point.

Thx for the answer. I truly hope so, because atm it's very difficult to discover new manialinks. Escp if the dont advertise in maniapub, or got a highprize spot.

Please note that when we do an "Explore" page, it will be based on the ManiaPub database anyway. We need to do that for moderation reasons. The idea behind that page is to be able to somehow browse Manialinks that are currently advertising on ManiaPub, so even a Manialink paying 10 Planets a day on ManiaPub will be in this system.
