Setting Elite as the Game Mode??

When i click the buitton t oset Game mode I get all the game types except for the one i want - Elite

How do I set a map to be Elite???

frustrating the hell out of me!!

Don't open the editor with the main shootmania. Load the "elite" title and then open the editor within this title.

Why the Editor can't be 'universal' regardless of what gametype you've started the editor from is beyond me :(

Probably to make it simpler in the long run -- it's a little extra work on the players' part which will save a whole lot of button presses every time you open the editor, once we have like 18 titles. Plus the architecture that MP uses, with each title being its own self-contained 'game', even though it is on the same engine -- it would be hard to make the editor access the other MP 'games' especially without causing horrendous bugs... an easily imagined bug scenario comes to mind if the player didn't own all the titles released so far.

Of course maybe a better way to do the editor from the start would be to have an editor where you could choose to make maps for any title, in the Maniaplanet 'main' menu, instead of having a separate one inside each title. I don't know why they didn't do that from the start... probably something to do with the way Canyon was released.
