What is Insomnia47? It is the biggest Gaming Festival in the UK, held 3 times a year in Telfod International Centre, Telford, England, and we host up to 2,200 BYOC LAN gamers (Bring your own computer) in the huge halls at the venue.
At the previous event: Insomnia46, we hosted our firs ShootMania Elite tournament, and after a hard fought weekend of matches, in the end it was Team Dignitas that won, with a strong line up of awesome players.

The Elite game mode that we are using pits teams of 3 against each other, in attack and defend round-based battles, where the attacking team sends a solo hero to take a control point against the 3 opponents. The catch? The solo player has an instant-kill rail-gun style weapon, where the defenders have slower firing rocket launcher style guns that require 3 hits to kill. This leads to intense combat and tight match points, leading to many incredibly exciting games!
