Alpha player looking for team

Hey everyone. I've been around since the game was in alpha, but have just now gotten really going on the game. Got some good previous experience with shooters. Played Shootmania at a few events they've shown it at and won a few tournaments they hosted there. That was good times.

Anyway, looking for a team to play with and practice with that might be looking to get competitive. I've got the brains and the dedication, just looking for the right teammates.

EDIT: I'm in the USA, just to clarify. I know there's a lot less activity here, but I want to get something going. There's gotta be NA people here that want to get some people together.

How do you get involved into the competitive scene? I've been trying to find links and what not. I never see any Elite servers in the beta list with people in them. Are they not listed, hidden? Just curious because all these players I see in streams, knowing they probably are mostly practicing and having scrimmages, just wondering how to get in on the action. IRC channels? Anywhere on the forums? Leagues? At work currently so the sites I can visit are limited due to firewall. if you guys know anything, let me know.

Are you, by any chance, American? Because that could explain empty servers by the time difference with Europe (there are mostly Europeans playing it). If not, then make sure you're checking "Elite" title (it has red pole on the icon), not "Elite exp" (with green one).
At certain times, Elite has up to two full pages of stuffed servers, so it's really strange that you can't find any servers with people in them.

Most likely you're using the Elite Exp. title - (is the title image green? then you're doing it wrong)
