Title Pack idea - Would you pay any planets on this?

Post by Mandark »

Hello guys! Well, I will be short. I have a Title pack idea and I want to know if it's worth working for and if you would play it. The title will mostly be about racing in a wasteland, with tracks mostly based on the short roads. I want to make the tracks look rather realistic.
It will look something like this:

Hm, what do you say? Would you pay any planets for this? Would you play this? Do you think it's worth working for?
If there will be enough people to like it, maybe I will start working on it

Well, I if you want details you will get details. Hope I will make myself understood.
The Title Pack consists in realistic tracks with a wilderness atmosphere (I don't mean Wild. I mean an uninhabited place.) on abandoned streets. The tracks won't have loops or wallrides (that may kill the spirit of TM a little, but it's going to be fresh) but I will try to have something special, different in every track. I am not sure how many tracks will be there. The main car could be the Lada you see in the screen (janculits did a great job), and you will have the opportunity to choose between different skins that don't affect the car (Just like any TM game). For now, the main mod is Team SW's Dusty Sky mod, which doesn't differ too much to the normal Canyon. Of course, there will be custom objects too. I already have a small list of objects to use.

My question is: Is it worth working on it? Would YOU like to play something like this?

Personally I would be very happy to play. I love the initiatives of Title Pack. It really change the way to play TM. This is good!

I'm waiting for it.

Where did you get the picture from? Your model railway?

If you don't know the content, and if there is not much to see, it is difficult to find people who would really pay for it.
At the moment I'm waiting for the things to come... ;)

Thanks for the comments.
Development starts now! :pil I have to think of a good name however, and need a different mod because the one i'm using currently has a few problems.
at Marc: I was actually asking if somebody would pay planets for a title LIKE this, and not this particular one ^^

I would rather say: if you like to build things, do whatever you like, as long as it is fun for you, and no burden.

If what you do is good, people will play it not only just for testing, and they will also pay for it.

The idea of "Wasteland" sounds good. A really dirty broken mood, where you have to crash the car already at the beginning to fit properly. (we need a trigger to display the "damaged car" model instantaneously  )
