How do you install this game where you want?

I keep trying to install it to my D drive but every time it installs like 50mb there and then like the rest on my C drive... what gives?

At the installation of the newer setup you can chose the folders where to install the base game, the titles & packs, and your personal data.
However, with the older setup (ManiaPlanet 1 with only Canyon inside), I'm not sure you can change this.

When the game is already installed, open the launcher, click Help, and then use the options "Move personal files" and "Move game data" to move the files to your D-drive

Thanx, I have no idea why the actual installation of the game is a separate thing you can choose from the installation of the game lol, I can understand personal data files but surely common should be considered the game?

Please do not mix up the ManiaPlanet plattform with the games themselves.
It makes somehow sense that not everything is installed in the same ManiaPlanet folder.
And I would not try to mix all in the same, since this was obviously not intended by the developpers, hence this might cause some undesired side effects.

But you can still chose to have your own ManiaPlanet base folder and let ManiaPlanet install below.
E.g. I have installed ManiaPlanet in Games\ManiaPlanet, and subfolders for CommonFiles and MyDocuments below.
So there are the following folders inside ManiaPlanet: CommonFiles, GameData, Packs, MyDocuments.
