[POLL]Scaling questions

Post by zarexz »

Hi all,
How does this game scale things with the mediatracker for example?

Say if I make a text in the far upper left corner on my 16:10 screen. Will that text show in the same proportions on a 4:3 screen? My fear is that the text goes outside the screen on a 4:3 scale. Is my fear correct?

Of course I've tried to test it myself but my monitor doesnt scale to 4:3. I don't know if there's any difference.

Thanxz :?:

Go to the windowed mode and set a 4:3 resolution. This way you can test it.
- You did.
- And...
- ...I didn't.

No my fear wasn't correct. Every thing stretches and stays in frame exactly ;)

I just found out, although text doesn't go outside the screen, it does move towards the center of the screen.
Meaning: MT text doesn't stay exactly at the same place in relation to the camera/track position when scaling down from 16:10 to 4:3. Which is quite a big bummer
