-to showcase your maps, scores, collections, cars, weapons, pics, videos
-a pic of you (the player) might be nice too
-your clan logo (clan access links in your profile)
-a place where people can send you messages from in-game ("hey your tripple jump map needs more...")
-so people can see what type of player you are (a map maker, a TM2 pro, a SM top 10, or a QM peon)

Having a social network-like manialink page attached to your account by default that you can customize sounds like a nice idea, not sure if it's easy enough for Nadeo to implement but I like the suggestion!

Yeah, this would be fantastic.

What this suggestion sort of reminds me of is the "My Spore" page in Spore, where it shows all your creations as well as your progress, etc.

Even the Zune software for computers has a social aspect to it.

i think this will be possible ingame because they said there will be limited need for out-game sites for the needs of the players. imagine that every player will have his small "planet" and biult him with his maps cars achivements. i think nadeo will take good care of that asoect of the game
