Can you add screenshots to help us understand the problem?
shadows is a pretty large concept in a lighting engine. be more precise please.

Shadows of existing (unchanged) maps?

I have the same problem since last week.
On the maps some surfaces are completely black. If u stand in them ur practically invisible.
Ive had this problem before a couple of months ago. Then it was fixed, now its back.
So its probably the same solution as before. " Rerendering of the shadows " or something? I cant remember.
Anyways, its a server issue right? Nothing the client can do? Or am i wrong?

That's right, shadows must be computed again. Server hosters can do it themselves or they have to find updated version but the client can't do anything about it.dreammyw0w wrote:" Rerendering of the shadows " or something? I cant remember.

Otherwise do a batch shadow computing on your maps

I actually computed the lightmaps again for all the major Elite and Joust maps, but still get those black patches on servers.
