TMNF and Tm2 stadium dedicated server question...

Hi, I have Trackmania nations forever and recently bought trackmania canyons. I am trying to open a dedicated server for trackmania nations players to join but It says I must register the server as a freezone server, but when I attempt to freezone:servers in console, it tells me I have to be united to use the command.

Ive had a server before and i never had to be united, how can I do this? I want to either have a tmnf server so free players can join, but what if I want a stadium server, What should I do?? Can nations players join trackmania 2 stadiums servers as well as canyons?? Im not really sure how all this works. Should I buy united so I can setup a server or get a tm2 server, but then can nations players or even stadium demo players join??

Im really confused as to where to go from this point, what do you think I should do? Ive spent many hours trying to setup a server but came up short, also tried google and these forums but I dont seem to be finding the answer. I am getting very tired.

Oh and just one more question off topic of this one, does trackmania have any gamemodes or options to have car collide, rather then pass through each other? My friend was wondering and asked but i didnt know. thanks

Ok, no one is replying. Let me just ask a simple question, if I get a tm2 Stadium server, will trackmania nations/united players be able to join or just stadium players? Also will people playing the demo be able to join?

Wat you ask are 2 different things.
First TMNF and TMUF are lets say TM1
Canyon and Stadium are titles in Maniaplanets TM2, and accordingly bought seperate.
Stadium version in TM2 stadium is in open beta, so free to play atm.
TMNF and TMUF players can download TM2 Stadium for free, Canyon only when bought.
So make clear what server you have, and wat players you want on your server.

Ok, clearly you did not read my full post and 2nd post better describing what im trying to figure out. So saying I don't read enough is stupid on your part, please re read my 2nd post.

I know that nations and united is tm1, thought i made that clear when I said tm nations and tm2 stadium. What I want to know is, can players join my tm2 stadium beta server if they are playing from trackmania 1 nations or united. Im pretty sure that's what I asked in my 2nd post but I could be wrong.

You can't let players from tm1 play on tm2 servers

They should buy the game to do so.

Its a tm1 in a new game.

Explainig, or try to is not stupid.
And thinking that players with TM1 can enter TM2 is kinda silly.
So no the cant, the have to buy/download tm2 to enter your server, like Willa said
