It's just a small thing, but instead of having TM2 show blank grey cars for undownloaded skins in multiplayer, why not have the game randomly select a skin for each online opponent from installed skins, at least until their skin actually downloads (or if it does). The same way the game selects skins for medal ghosts.
As much as I'd like to take credit for this idea, it's not mine, the idea actually comes from Flidd. I'm just annoyingly helpful and I wanted to be sure that the idea was seen.
