Hi,
is there a way to invert the axis of analog inputs from a controller? If not, where would I ask for the implementation of this feature?

Re: [TM2] CONTROLLER - Invert controller axis
Hi,
thanks for your response, but I specifically need this is in Trackmania 2 Stadium (or Canyon, there shouldn't be much difference, though) and I need it for a gamepad and not the mouse. I steer with the triggers on the back of my Xbox Gamepad. While this worked great with my old Xbox controller and XBCD, the Xbox 360 wireless controller driver offers no option to invert axis on its own. Now when I steer to the left, I drive to the right and vice versa. That's sad and it prevents my dedimania record hunting.
I thought maybe there's a hidden option, like holding a special key while assigning the axis to assign it inverted.
Edit: The option you specify is poorly translated into german. That means it makes absolutely no sense in german. "Steuerpunkt einfügen", I don't even know what thats supposed to mean... "insert steering point"? A proper translation would be "Y-Achse invertieren".

Re: [TM2] CONTROLLER - Invert controller axis
The translation issue is already reported.
The axis cannot be inverted in TrackMania I think, and I doubt it makes sense there unless you really hold your gamepad somehow reversed

As I said, I steer with the triggers on the back of my gamepad and they are in the wrong direction. When I press the left trigger, I steer to the right and pressing the right trigger steers to the left. When I assign the axis, there's no way to reverse it.
I don't know how to explain this any better. No need to hold the gamepad reversed for that to happen.
Re: [TM2] CONTROLLER - Invert controller axis
hehe ok, understood.
Well in that case your request makes sense
Shall I move it to the beta reports section?

Re: [TM2] CONTROLLER - Invert controller axis
If that would make more sense and I could get more help there, I'd appreciate if you move the thread there, thanks.
However, both TMF and Maniaplanet are showing the same reaction to my tries, so I'm just guess they're basically using the same way of accessing gamepads.
I was playing around with x360ce and Durazno. I had no luck with either of them. It seems to me like Maniaplanet is using direct input (?). The workaround from x360ce for DI only games is a dinput8.dll that calls the xinput1_3.dll x360ce is providing. This fake dinput8.dll can also be used to load the xinput1_3.dll of Durazno, but at the end, they both make no impact. I tried changing buttons and axis's around and the game doesn't recognize the change.
If someone could point me in the right direction that would be nice.
Edit: I know my request might be very specific, thanks for the help!

Re: [TM2] CONTROLLER - Invert controller axis
Hello,
is there any progress to my problem? I can't drive without inverting the Z-Axis of my controller and I can't invert the Z-Axis without the support of Nadeo. :(
I think I'm nearly through all possibilities of workarounds, so it would be great to know if a feature like inverting axis will be implemented in the future or not. :)

Everything works if I redifine the triggers actions on my logitech gamepad and logitech profiler.

Hi,
for anyone who needs it: http://lavendy.net/special/driver/x360wc/index.html
It's japanese, but chromes built in translation can do wonders here.
Anyways, this driver _will_ help you if you've my problem or if you want to be any flexible with the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller & Receiver. Translate the README if you want to know how it works.
