Question: are costly skins blocked for ingame P2P download?

Many people have skin display issues, although their creators claim to have setup everyhting properly, inlcuding locators.

If I download a car from ManiaPark, place it in my CanyonCar folder, and want to use it, then Canyon asks me to pay for it.

What if this "pay for skin" question does not appear ingame, and costly custom skins are not downloaded into the local cache - perhaps so they can't be reused?

The files in the cache are encrypted so either way I think the stealing of it shouldn't be the problem.
