Hi,
Since the last update i've got freezes every 5 seconds, disabled my firewall/av, my drivers are up to date, also disabled p2p. Nothing changed, when it comes i've the lag icon popping :
http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/201 ... -00001.jpg
No packet loss when i tested my connection, very strange. I also rebooted my box, and already used this.
cfg :
Intel Q9550
nVidia GTX 570 1.2Gb
RAM : 4Gb
HDD : 500Gb+2Tb
Soundcard : Audigy SE
All drivers up-to-date.
Edit : Also have some freezes when friends are connecting, due to the fact that i've got the game on steam, u should delete this option.

Re: [RC1] Freezes while playing
Regarding your issue aint got no explanation on what could be the cause unless somewhere is biting the ethernet cable
But please... If you don't receive an answer for 1 day do not bump the post... Let the staff work... Give some days of room
If you don't get answer for a week or so (i don't know), then, bump it as it has not been fixed yet... but meanwhile be patient

Steam is not downloading anything in the background? e.g. updates of other games?
5s interval is typically a hardware monitor, or do you have the task manager running perhaps?

Nothing special on this screen.
If that was an hardware problem, why does it's only on the steam version ? :p

Re: [RC1] Freezes while playing
I did not speak of a hardware problem, but of a tool that periodically does something, as you wrote "every 5 seconds".
Most probably it is some temperature or fan speed check tool. Or the task manager.
Or some tool that checks some information in the Internet.
It can be anything.
Try to use the task manager, set its refresh rate to fast, go to the list of all processes, sort them by cpu usage,
and try to see which application changes its position all 5s.
