Shootmania Friends List Offline even when they are Online?

Is there a fix for this? I tried google and reddit didn't find anything. I'm on TS with my friends we are both playing he can see me I can't see him. Shows him as offline. He double checked and he has his little green ball set to green.

The Maniaplanet friends list is really buggy dude. This is one of the few problems that I've experienced with it.

Might as well list them off now, seems like this is an appropriate thread to do so.

-Friends who are clearly online appear as offline
-Friends appear to be playing on a server that they are not actually on
-A random assortment of my steam friends(who do not own any maniaplanet games) showing up on my list (not all of them for some reason)
-Some usernames that people have set disappear when they are offline and only show their default login names
-(don't know if this one is fixed yet)Adding people to your friends list or having people add you to their friends list requires you to restart the game and accept their friend request at start up

I might be missing some of the issues I've found, but those are the big ones. The problem you've been experiencing it one of the most common problems for me as well. Hopefully this stuff gets patched, because these problems have been around even in the days of Trackmania United Forever.

This is not a bug, this works as intended. They said they will add the feature to insta-add friends ingame later, since now they had other more important things to work on.

As for all the rest... yep, those bugs have been there for as long as i started playing Shootmania back in autumn 2012. Don't know what's taking them so long to fixes those simple (yet annoying) things.

ah ok, figures. glad THAT was addressed and put on the table. Hopefully they figure out how to fix those bugs though.
