[1.0] skin bug

Hello,

Sometimes after joining a server players say I have sort of camouflage skin, while in fact I have default skin. When I look into my profile from match menu, skin looks like this:


Maybe it is the way how it looks to others.
If I quit the server and join it again, the skin looks as it should.

Also I saw a guy with similar look:




This is big issue, because skin is badly distinguishable at certain backgrounds, like walls.

This bug appears from time to time, I didn't notice conditions to reproduce it consistently.

looks like it was covered by mud, or dusty (like the cars in canyon after driving a while on ground)

Do you know it if happens only after a while of playing, or can it also happen soon after respawn?

no it's not dirt...

it happens to me quite often, too
i've seen someone running around with a Sweden skin even though he has set the default one for example

I don't think this is mud. People told me about this in the beginning of my play after joining the server. I think this occurs right after first spawn at the server and keeps that way until I leave. This is recent issue, about two weeks or so.

Update: Now the skin is changed to ESL skin, while I didn't change the default and don't even know where to get ESL skin.

Clearing cache didn't help. I went to options to choose skins. There was no ESL skin available to select, but the model had it. I set default skin and this returned default look in the game.

Yes, this bug is pretty annoying to say the least, because the bug doesn't happen for everyone, nor is the bug happening on the person who actually looks like that. The only solution we've found to the problem is quitting shootmania, clearing cache and then going back into the server.

However, I don't want to clear my cache because then I'll get so many lightmap bugs thanks to servers not having updated lightmaps. (I guess I can fix that as well)

PS! This bug has existed for a long time, but has become very frequent since the release of RC1. Several people can testify to this.

I add couple screens how this makes players badly distinguishable in Joust without energy visuals:
