Custom horn help needed (new problem)

Hi all. I apologize for making another "horn" thread, but none of the others seem to have my problem. I edited the horn in audacity and exported it as a WAV file. I uploaded to a site and got the direct link which I put into notepad and saved as a .loc
Both the loc and the actual file (which plays when I double click on it) are in my documents>maniaplanet>skins>horns. When I boot up Shootmania, the horn name shows but clicking on it doesn't cause it to play like it does for the others and trying to open it only generates an invalid horn message. Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. Downloading a different .wav file (one not made by me) and putting it in the same place works fine; the horn plays for me even without a .loc (yes I know the loc is necessary for other people to hear it). Out of desperation for results, I put the loc elsewhere but the WAV still didn't play. My P2P settings have "download", "upload", and "locators" all enabled. Could someone please enlighten me? I appreciate all assistance. Thank you.

says it all, your audio file seems to be incorrect
it's not about the locator, you don't have worry about that yet

make sure that your horn is a mono audio file (i recommend .ogg) shorter than 10 seconds
if that is the case maybe it helps providing us the file so that we can take a look at it in order to further help you
