Intro change would be nice

I like the flight over the canyons and the platform intro alot better than the clouds we have now.
I´m not complaining here "i´m just saying" well the platform wasn´t the best intro "bad loop" but better than the clouds... maybe the clouds can still be at the title screen ofc. actually it can be a video insted of an gbx file becouse that would take less computer power. anyway....

Make a constest where we can submit/send a gbx file to you with new inro in the start for each environment.
or if you don´t have time with the judging, let us the player decide the winner of the new intros becouse it´s we that playes the game most

Actually it don´t have to be a contest, but maybe some can make some and submit here, intros like the platform pack hade before some updates ago "or if it was before maniaplanet 2" anyway the clouds are nice and simple but i prefer some cool intro for Storm Canyon and valley (when it comes), instead of the clouds.

I don´t know if the intro have support for replays yet.. ? ?

Perhaps it can also work as a screen saver, if we are in the menu and after a few minute the buttons dissipear and work like a screen saver ^^ i dont think i need to explain what a screen saver is, right

But you perhaps know or remember there were issues with the background animations (which were basically replays displayed there)?
In Canyon sometimes a black moving polygon appeared on the ground instead of a cloud shadow.
And in Storm, there were glitches on some replays.

Apparently Nadeo chose to skip this relatively perfomance hungry thing to avoid long loading times of the titles in the menu (since to have a replay running you need to load the full game).

They have announced that BIK format is supported again, but I'm not sure if we can have a full size background animation with acceptable quality there (ManiaLink creators are welcome to try ou ).

That´s why i wonder if they get replays to work in the intro yet, and i also suggested video instead just in case but then i why not use a rendered video in intro instead

And we make intro and guys at nadeo can render the video later so the quality stays, i´m not saying you guys have bad computers, only that nadeo have better equipment...
we send all replay or submit here and we the players vote for the best intro "Shootmania Canyon Stadium" (i change that: you at nadeo should also vote

btw: i know a few complain about that the game take to much resources in the intro and this is the fix, make a video instead of the 3d clouds) (use same format as the videocontest) (1 min = 50 mb or something) 1080p and about the loading time, i dont know about you guys but it´s take longer time to load the game than before the clouds i think, (it was so fast a while ago but now its a bit slower, imo) but it still load faster than the most games

The fact that it takes longer to load now could have something to do with the decision to change the backgroud. The longer loading isn't necessarily because of the new background, plenty of other things have changed. As scientists say (and the media ignores anyway) correllation doesn't equal causation.

I agree with you though, the old backgrounds were far more interesting. Even if there was no actual map on the building space like TMS had. (Snake I think... fun times for hotseat... unless back then you were a mongoose?)
