Adding buddies

I seem to have an issue when I try to add a buddy to my list. Everytime I try to do so it tells me the player does not exist, am I missing something? I was abe to add 1 buddy when we both started playing but now for whatever reason I am unabe to do so. If they have their name in color do I have to add it like that, and if so how does that person get that info to me?

You have to search their login nick to add them.

The best way to add buddies is to do it in-game, since you don't have to use the search function.

there is 2 ways
1. you can right click on a player name "when you play with them" and add as buddy or you can see his login if you like to give him some planets
2. and you can add buddy at player-page

So how do you add them in game?

When you are in a match/server:

- ESC
- Advanced options
- Players profile
- Go back/foraward 'till you visualize the profile of the guy you wanna add and on the right there is a button "Add as buddy"

faster way: ALT - rightclick on the person (or that small icon with a "person") - add buddy

That never worked for me. I is it limited to any gamemodes or is there any known bug around this? Also the person icon is only available in the normal scoreboard (TAB). When I press ALT it switches to the other scoreboard.

I failed, it's leftclick, not rightclick... and in those modes where you get statistics on pressing alt, you can change it to normal scoreboard with the two big icons on the left
