[Resolved] Third-Party Use of ManiaPlanet Icons

Hey there,

We would like to use the ManiaPlanet icon set on our community website.
I was wondering whether that is allowed or if there are copyright issues or something like that.

The icons I'm talking about are for example these:

Although not 100% sure, as long as you are doing it for a community website ( which is obviously related to ManiaPlanet), and you don't make profit with it, it should be allowed, or at least considered as "tolerated a grey zone"

Cerovan explained a few things here, in a topic regarding usage of music/skins/textures for a ManiaPlanet video contest:

The main concern here was to prevent the video makers from using copyrighted stuff from othere companies or persons.

If you still need a more precise answer, please contact Cerovan (if he doesn't respond by himself here within a few days).
