Quantum Computing

TMarc wrote:in theory it should be feasible, yes, but custom titles can't use blocks randomly actually.
And I know very well the limitation of large maps, that's why I wrote TM³, until then there will be more perfomant machines available, also for zarexz ;)

Zarexz, in max 10 years, most people will have computers with quantum CPUs. Which can process about 3000 the amount of information, that the computers of today can, I'm talking about processors with 3THz effect :)
They are currently working on it, and it is going to be, INSANE, yes insane..

Quantum CPU :roflol:
Hooked on Star Trek like me perhaps.?

As soon I can get my hands on one of those, I'm into all the previous ideas mentioned here :3 :pil

Its not StarTrek anymore xD They have actually made it, they are just having problems controlling it for the moment, and the technologies are too expencive. But it's real, I can find the video if you want to see it :)

Yeah, there is a lot of University-based research into it all.

Quantum computers are just one possible "quantum leap" in computing. DNA computing could change the world as well (Estimated to be about 100,000 times faster than current computing). We are nearing some huge changes but will they come to be, or go the ways of Tesla's ideas? Worse, it could become available but unaffordable to most.

in theory the only thing needed is a 3d printer on molecular level. My guess it already exists, but the design will never get released due to the fact you could print your own deadly viruses as well. So they're keeping us dumb and only allow us to print weapons for lego ^^

sidenote: how did we get here? not much of an article/video/screenshot related thing. friggin hijackers :teub:

Let's move this quantum part to the off topics because it's quite interesting.

Thanxz for the links Kegulf

I'm sure even with quantum or DNA computers, applications will always need more. :roflol:
