Steam Summer Sale 2013

Post by Linkinito »

Hi! :)

Just saw it, the Steam Summer Sale 2013 is live for the next two weeks! Big price cuts and bargains to take all over the place.
Maniaplanet is part of the deal, but something is surprising: only one game is on sale, ShootMania Storm (-40%), but Canyon isn't on sale despite being the oldest of them all. Valley not being on sale is more understandable as it was just released days ago (even if some games that just released have a small reduction like 10 or 20%).

EDIT: Stadium had 35% off, but it was changed to 0% off. Way to go Ubi :teub: :0010

It was just for asking. :) I also think many people would buy a Maniaplanet Pack containing all 4 games at like 30 or 40 bucks. :) I'm guessing Ubisoft manage all this, but I think it would be awesome to have a pack like this. :)

Hopefully they will discount Valley for a daily deal some day.. I would certainly buy it for 10, but unfortunately at the moment I don't feel like buying it for 20 euros.

Also, TrackMania United Forever Star Edition isn't in sale too, while 99% of the games published by Ubi are in sale...

I wouldn't count on Valley sale at all, as it's totally new, but Canyon on the other hand... Well, I might start to think of buying it if it's 75% off.

It was for a short time. I saw it too I think. Obviously a mistake that had been fixed already by Ubi. xD

An all-new solo campaign with levels created by the community, if I remember correctly.

Also, since Ubi removed the reduction on Stadium, all Trackmania games, alongside Silent Hunter 5 (which was released in 2010), are the only Ubi games that are NOT in sale.

I might have a bad reaction, but that's kinda weird to see EVERY game from Ubi having a reduction (even the latest ones, like Might&Magic Heroes VI, Trials Evolution, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Call of Juarez Gunslinger...), and Trackmania being the only franchise left out. I mean, not having a reduction for Valley might be logic as it just released.

But no reduction for Canyon and United Forever is an injustice (the only worse thing I've saw is the awesome Activision sales!), and the removal of the 35% off on Stadium took the cake for me. Stadium was free at the time of Nations (then Forever).

I have all my respect for Nadeo and I'll keep it forever, but Ubi... You screwed up. Please, make an effort. I'm sure a good amount of gamers would give a try to Trackmania² during the summer sale.
