Skins/horns not visible.

Hi, since the last update (What fixed the bug I reported yesterday, thanks!) We can't see skins and hear costum horns anymore. Is this gonna be fixed?

I can hear other players horns (can see only default skin on them)
They can hear my horn. (can see only default skin on me - I'm using Iron Storm)
None of us can hear our own horn or see anything other than the default skin.

"none of us" is just wrong!
if this problem would really apply to so many players the forum would be way more active talking about it
for me for example it worked 100% of the time

it's unfortunate for the players with this issue like you but please stop telling crap

Like steeffeen said, it looks like not all players have theses issues.
I wasn't able to reproduce any of them : I'm able to see and hear my own custom horn and skin.
Unfortunately it's really more easy for us to fix a bug we can reproduce than a bug we can not.

Just to be sure, you must know that to make your horn sounds, you've to press the horn button (usually Ctr) while aiming at the sky (and above a minimum angle), else the game 'll think you want to trigger a 'ping' ?

Could you reproduce that with the log version and post back the log file, to help us finding the issue ?

The only bug I've seen is that horn sound volume is very low in the in-game profile dialog, I'll fix that.

Just copying another player description of the issue here:

Sorry, been gone a couple of days and just saw your reply now.
You can set your horn in the profilescreen and you can hear the horn. But in-game you only hear the default horn from others AND yourself. So all horns I hear, including my own are the default horn. Tried several (european) servers, but its the same everywhere. I know other players horns need to be downloaded so it can take a while, but I'm not hearing my own horn either (only when choosing it in the player profile page). When online in a server and check my profile there, there also only the default horn I hear.
Hope this is fixed soon, cause I love that feature.

we are going to make a quick fix today, for the intro and other stuff.

for the horn, it was working here, do you have more specifics?

I can't get you a log file atm, but here are some facts which may help:

- It worked all fine for me before the valley update.
- Canyon, Valley and Stadium Skins and horns do work
- Shootmania skins are beeing shown in the profile skin selection, but when selected, they show the default skin.
- Horns play when selecting them in the profile menu, but the default horn will play ingame in SM.
- Others skins and horns are shown, but not mine (Not even for me).

Could you check that in game/storm/profil/advanced/ "Allow custom models" and "Allow unlimited horns" are enabled ?
Also that Launcher/Config/Advanced/: Peer2Peer/Advanced/All_Options_Are_checked and Game/IgnoreCarPaints_is_unchecked ?

I assume the you've the storm skin/horn issues in multiplayer ?
Could you check if it's the case in solo (edit_a_map, then play inside) ?
And also in a LAN server (local_play, create, etc) ?
