I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but with certain custom models I'm having a strange problem.
They have very very low polycounts in-game.
On the model select screen they render just fine and look great, but as soon as I actually start a race the model shown is this horrible low resolution thing. The surrounding track/blocks look fine, however.
I've gone into the Nvidia Control Panel and set everything to highest quality, and set all the game settings to highest quality too. This only occurs with some models.
Is there a way to force the game to use high-poly models?

It depends also on the 3d model itself.
