How do I actually load up the game?

So I bought this on steam last night and can fire up the game and get into the menu, but when i select trackmania 2 valley (the one I bought) from the 4 titles I get a pop up that says "do you want to load this title into the station?" to which i click load and...... nothing happens. This goes for all of them. Do I need to download my own maps or something? Are the servers down? What's the deal? Been trying for two hours now with no success and now I am wanting my money back.

ManiaPlanet is the core, but it does not contain anything else than the main menus and the configuration launcher tool.
Restart Steam and check if the library is downloading the packages required for Valley.
