[SM/TM] Impossible to test title pack with items

It's a long date bug (since Beta 2.X, don't remember exactly :D )
Already have this problem with TrackMania and Stunters.
If i want to test title pack with solo or multiplayer script with a map that contains an item, i've got the message : "Blocks or Items missing"
For TrackMania, it's not a problem, i can use a map with no items.
But for ShootMania, it's difficult to test a map (for more than one player) which is based on dynamic items :lol:
Tested with Items, Bots, changed SMCommon to Storm, put the public option to true in ManiaPlanetTitle.xml, etc, etc, with no success...

BTW, on Stunters, i've got 2 images that serve for sign blocks, all players see theses images exept me. I have to move theses images from Media\Images\Stunters to another one folder to have possibility to see them on map.

well it's working for me so there's something wrong on your end :D
it doesn't work with storm itself but with title packs that have included the items
are you sure that you've correctly included them?
maybe the xml could help

    hm looks good i guess
    in storm it's normal that it doesn't work, it's annoying but that's maniaplanet..
    i've overseen that you are using the test button for testing the title pack (watched the vid again now^^)
    actually i can't tell about this way of doing it because i never use the test button

    maybe it doesn't work because you don't actually generate the title pack and it just doesn't work this way
    well i think that's what the topic is about :lol:

    btw: why don't you use folders in stunters as well? it's so much easier :D

      I think this is an issue too...

      Because with <folder/>, items are classed in descending order.

      Example : i've got 3 items in folder Items/Valley/MyItems
      Named 01-first, 02-second, 03-third

      if i use <folder name="Items/Valley/MyItems" />, in editor theses 3 items are reversed, then 03-third is the first item in editor, 02-second then second (nice :)) and 01-first last item.

      Then, if you look at inside Stunters ManiaPlanetTitle.xml, with <file>, all objects are included in reversed order to have them in order in editor :roflol:
      It's a little bit complicated, but it works !!

      Edit : then in Valley, i decided to use <folder> which is more simple than <file>, but my first item is 99-first, second 98-second, etc...

      yeah i noticed this ordering issue as well but i didn't know that it's only happening when using folders..

      did you try not using the test button?

        it's not a problem for me, since i develop with an external text editor too. But Test Title pack is good to test some features with multiplayer script. Players can join server, and i can change directly some minor bugs here and here ;)

        well for scripts with items i generate a small title pack that only includes the items and doesn't set a specific script
        now i can run any script inside the title pack
        (got that trick from Eole :))

        because the title pack doesn't have blocks i use maps without blocks ^^

        my scripts are all written 99% ingame
