Re: Question: How to make own crosshair in PS3
1- Install nvidia dds plugin for ps
2- Create 4 new .dds files sized 256x256 (rocket.dds, nucleus.dds, laser.dds, trilaser.dds)
3- Draw your crosshair in the center(The alpha channel is there for transparencies -white = visible, black = not visible-)
4- Save
5- Put all those files in a .zip (MyXhair.zip containing rocket.dds, nucleus.dds etc)
Trilaser.dds "represents the static part of your crosshair" (not zooming when no ammo)
Mainly used to draw the 3 points of the laser trilaser (like in the default xhair)
If you don't want trilaser you can simply don't draw it.
http://lesimoon.free.fr/ShootMania/Cros ... ed_new.zip example.
As you may have noticed im not an expert either but this is how it works mainly. If anyone can give him something more specific or detailed it would be nice (if he asks for it)
