Hi,

ManiaPlanet competition Manager is a tool built to automatize competition.
The tool:
- Handle registration
- Generate bracket
- Start servers
- Get results

In order to test it with a larger audience, we run a test cup tomorrow.

Registration: 03/09/13 from 18:00 CEST to 04/09/13 19:00 CEST
on manialink competition-beta
Fee: 300 planets
Matchs: 04/09/13 from 21:05 CEST, next turn 22:00, next turn 23:00
Type: BO3, mappack ESL
Size: max 8 teams (using ManiaPlanet teams)
Settings: b3

the tool is still in beta stage, it may go really wrong and everything may be cancelled

Ye I know , I just asked what gameplay (lol) this "cup" was going to use

I am so glad to see that this feature (the one i am the most awating for) is coming up...At least its building and fixing is coming up. Can not wait to test it on TM, with 1v1v1v1, teams, pool stages and so on.

In my opinion, this feature is the next BIG step to increase the legitimacy of many many things like :

-team ranking in both SM&TM
-NADEO games as eSports games
-The awesomeness of the game
-Just a reason to open its game every evening

I remember the good old days of maniacups in TMU and this was sooooo awesome. I was really addicted to that like all my teammates. If all the admins of all tournaments could use these features instead of manually admin their cups, with the help of binary Beast and others, this would just bring a new perspective of gaming on SM (and TM i hope)

So : I am really really happy that you (at last!! ) start to rework on that essential feature.
